You don’t need to create a seperate “printer friendly” page. All you need to do is create a print stylesheet. Such a stylesheet will be automatically used when the use clicks their browser’s “print” control.

I appreciate that Paul and do intend to implement a print stylesheet in the near future.

However, I do think there are benefits to having a “printer friendly” page. Mostly because users look for such a facility. I would suggest that most users don’t appreciate that clicking “print” can actually result in a page specifically formatted for print, mainly because on most websites it doesn’t work that way.

Therefore, I will keep the “printer friendly” control, but use a print-specific stylesheet to display the resulting page. Then I think I will have the best of both worlds.
