Your Chance to Fix IE
Tags: Commentary, Windows
We've all complained about Microsoft Internet Explorer's abysmal W3C standards support. Now we have a chance to voice our complaints and, just possibly, have them resolved...
Andrei Herasimchuk over at Design by Fire posted a rant recently about the difficulties involved in coding websites to meet the XHTML 1.0 Strict specifications.
As it's impossible to cover such a subject without berating IE's failure to render web-pages as per the specifications, Andrei's article touched on IE's failings. He suggested that we post on Robert Scoble's weblog - apparently in the hope that Scoble would pass our complaints on to the IE team at Microsoft.
Amazingly, Scoble read Andrei's article and, contrary to my expectations, has confirmed that he passes along all feedback about Microsoft's products!
Don't waste this glorious opportunity. Frustrated by IE's box model? Desperate for proper "hover" support? Let Scoble know, TODAY!
