I have created my first search plug-in(s) for Firefox.
The plug-ins add search options for Koders, a search engine for source code. Koders enables developers to easily search and browse source code in thousands of projects hosted at hundreds of open source repositories.
The Koders search engine has options for searching source code in the following languages: ASP, C, C#, C++, Delphi, Fortran, Java, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby, SQL, Tcl, VB & VB.NET and provides a mechanism to search for code released under a variety of open source licenses...
I have created plug-ins for three languages, Perl, PHP and SQL and I will create others for the remaining languages once I'm happy that everything works as it should.
I will submit the plug-ins to the Mycroft Project when I'm happy that I've got them right.
Extract the files from the archive and copy them to the "searchplugins" folder in your Firefox directory. Then restart Firefox and enjoy your Koders search!
As these are my first attempts, I welcome all feedback: suggestions, bug fixes, criticisms, etc. You can email me, or post in the comments.
