I've just come across vnc2swf, a screen recorder for *nix X-Window (X11) and Mac OS X. vnc2swf is a neat little application that records a "video" of screen activity and converts it to a Macromedia Flash movie.
Unfortunately the software only runs on *nix and Mac OS X.
Is there anything like this in the Microsoft Windows universe (NT, 2000, XP)?
In order to qualify, the software must be free and, preferably, open source. It should produce either Flash or MPEG output, for cross-platform use. If possible, it should be able to record from the whole screen or from an individual window.
