I agree that, in a sense, it’s not worth it. Blogging fame & fortune is fine for those who get them, but for the rest of us, with 9-10-20 pages served/day (75% of which come from random Google searches) it might seem futile.

I took my site in a direction that I knew would be unpopular, but that’s because I mostly use it to document my own insanity, for my own use, and whoever happens to read and comment comes as a bonus.

My advise would be not to worry yourself with this. As long as you don’t spend too much on hosting, the site can wait for your interest in it to return.

Believe me that’s not why I started blogging and the lack of fame and fortune isn’t the cause of my malaise. More than anything else, my blog is a vault for my thoughts - whether anyone reads it or not doesn’t really bother me.

Exactly. Ditto.

I’m not. :-)

As long as you don’t spend too much on hosting…

Ah, er yes, there is that! :-(

Well, we’re still watching!

AdSense earnings have been dwindling for a lot of folks lately. Google is doing some weird stuff with their algorithms this month, and it’s having the effect of diminished referrals from Google to our sites. You’re not alone on that one, even if you have been gone for a while. ;-)

Hey buddy, nice to see you back at it… I hear you about the whole “lacking motivation” thing. I only just got my mojo back. ;)

Hello to old friends Scott, Mike and Ryan. Nice to know you’re still tuned-in.

Ryan, great work on your website. I love the new template - although I recommend you check it out with Opera as it kinda breaks down under that browser.

Thanks for the support guys. :-)
