An interesting addition to the site, if not quite as obvious as Dunstan’s rather zealous effort. I think the bar has been set with 1976’s rather novel use of a dynamic banner. I doubt this is the kind of information that people will actually want to click through things to find and would be perhaps better off as a feature of the frontpage of the blog. Now, how to squeeze it into your design…?

That’s the one place I don’t want it James as I am trying to keep sidebar clutter to a minimum there.

I think the weather information is ideally located on this page (Locale). The page discusses my location, thus the weather details are meta data for that page, they aren’t really relevant anywhere else.

Tried to revisit the “Batley Lad” site but no joy. Came across your diatribe on Batley. Funniest thing I’ve read in ages. It’s so true!. (yes, I’m local)
