Man Darkblue I love Project Iceberg its so clean and well perfect. I love the GUI enhancements, I’ve began using some of the thigns you have used in the project such as Object Dock and Desktop, I also discovered mozilla which I really like. Keep up the good work.
takes piece of the action im liking this little forum very much, may i ask how it is done, im in the process of putting Cutenews on my server at the mo - but this is more like the thing of which i am looking for! Very nice website -very nice rig. Top marks *
Hi DQ2k. Thanks for the compliments. I’m glad you like the forum system. I have had a look at CuteNews and it looks like it will be a neat addition to your website. This forum system is part of Shapeshifter (the CMS behind the website). I wanted a simple forum myself. I don’t see the need for bloatware on this website. This forum is written in Perl and uses a MySQL database. It is fairly configurable. Users don’t have to register to use it (encouraging more spontaneous contributors). Better still, because it’s fully integrated with the CMS, I can add a forum wherever I want. So, if I write about a topic that would seem to benefit from a forum, I simply add one to that article. Neat eh?
OMG, someone actually posted in my forum! Yeeesssss!!! :-) |
