there is awide range of UE sites out there but hardly anythng about the Isle Of Wight. As you may have guessed, I live on the I.O.W and there are a fair few sites to explore. I just recently did Whitecroft. An old asylum, and needless to say, it was incredible.there are also many others so if you can, pay a visit. You won’t regret it, so long as you know what you’re looking for. having a guide may also help but is not madatory. e-mail me for info…purplewaxman@hotmail.com

come on over. you’re almost garunteed to have a good time. whitecroft is a fantastic place to see and it’s easy as pie to get in…windows,doors,fire-escapes,etc. plus there’s the boathouse, warner’s, peacock hill…i could go on. you can’t really go anywhere without seeing an abandoned building. let me know your plans and maybe i could orgnise a tour for you.

Shadow Walker: I think I going to come down there my friend. In a few weeks perhaps.

I’ll get myself sorted out here, then I’ll email you and we can organise some outings if you’re okay with that.

Can you recommend accommodation (cheap, but clean and friendly)?

i got your mail. please send me your e-mail address so we can keep in contact. the island is b&b central. if you do come, then you should probably stay for a long weekend if not more. whitecroft is a sunday job as people work on site during the week. all others, any day. are you coming by car?

well. it would be cheaper to stay in a b&b if you do come down here. unless you want to stay in a tent, cos there’s loads of places you can do that for free. plus the reason i ask if you would come by car is that the island’s bus service isn’t to good.
